chainveil is a composition for prepared electric harp in which clothespins are attached directly to the strings. Flicking the clothespins produces an oscillating delay with the use of electronics or processing. Individual gestures accumulate into a shifting field of sound that blurs the distinction between discrete attacks and continuous wash.
