Beauty Cave is one in a series of improvisations that I’ve been recording since January as I work on an upcoming album of original compositions for harp. It utilizes a lot of new techniques that I’ve been developing, including various implements and preparations that I discovered during my residency in Copenhagen last summer. While I can’t say for certain that this track will be included on the album, I feel very connected to this sound world and couldn’t help but sharing in the moment.
